I can't tell you how much I love these...

Now for the designs that I LOVE!

The first one is inspired by the Snowdrop flowers. I love these little flowers, they're so cute! I don't have Snowdrops where I live :( I just think they're so magical and they always make me think of fairies :D

So here's what I did:

I painted little tiny Snowdrops. They're not that detailed, but you can tell they're supposed to be Snowdrops. And look at that base colour! Look at it! OMG, could I have picked a better colour to go with Snowdrops? I think not! It's called Dancing with Nureyev by A-England.

Here's my thumb, you can see the Snowdrops a little better in this picture. I do think I should have made the stems a little thinner though... But look at that colour! I just can't get over it haha :D

Colours Used:
Blue - A-England: Dancing with Nureyev
Greens - China Glaze: Gaga for Green and Starboard
White - China Glaze: White on White

This next one sort of came out of no where.

I knew that I wanted to do a gradient of some kind and to use some new rhinestones that I got. So I played around a bit and this is what happened. I did a gradient of medium purple, light purple and light blue. I have trouble with gradients because I never know what colours to put together, but this just worked.

Then I stamped with MoYou London Mother Nature Collection Plate 1, which is the swirly tree pattern. I used A-England's original Excalibur to stamp with, which works great, but it made me sad to see how much got wasted of my precious A-England haha.
Then I stuck some rhinestones randomly in the middles of some of the swirls. These rhinestones are not specifically for nails, I just found them in the craft section of a cheap shop.

I love this one so much, so whimsical....

Colours Used:
Medium Purple - China Glaze: Spontaneous
Light Purple - Essie: Lilacism
Light Blue - Essie: Borrowed and Blue
Silver - A-England: Excalibur (Original)

Meh...

I've finally got around to putting my photos on my computer to upload. So I have 4 designs that I haven't uploaded yet. In this post, I will show the 2 that I like least and he next one will be of the ones that I love.

This is the first one:

I had it set in my head that I wanted to use A-England's Dorian Grey. Along with feeling a little uninspired, I also didn't want to cover up the colour. So I did a simple Waterfall design.
There's a bit of tip wear because I almost didn't take photos. But it's a week's worth of tip wear! I did my nails on Sunday night and took it off on Friday night. Way to go A-England! You can see my thumb nail is worse than the rest, but that's pretty damn good wear time even after work.

Colours Used:
Gunmetal - A-England: Dorian Grey

Blue - OPI: Swimsuit Nailed it!
Silver - Orly: Dazzle

This next one didn't turn out as awesome as I thought it would. If you've seen any of the Picture Polish Special Edition polishes that look like galaxies, you'll know they look amazing over black. So what I attempted was to watermarble with one of them and a clear polish onto a black base.

You can see the shift in colour at different angles here in full sunlight with a nice background of the cement outside my work. The watermarbling worked well, but I think the problem was that with watermarbling, you can't do 2 coats of the colour, so the colour wasn't as amazing as it could have been with 2 coats.

Colours Used:
Black - A-England: Camelot
Shifty - Picture Polish: Illusionist
Clear - Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Top Coat (because I'm trying to use it all up)
