Nautical Nails

My manicure for this week is nautical themed. Since it's Summer here in Australia, I thought that nautical nails would be cool.
For this design, I went with the red, navy blue, and white stripes that everyone seems to associate with nautical and sailing.

After applying a white base, I used striping tape and Scotch tape create the stripes with navy blue and red.
Then I painted the anchor with gold and the boat with a lighter blue, brown and the same red.

White - Sinful Colors: Snow Me White
Navy Blue - China Glaze: First Mate
Red - Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure: Right Said Red
Gold - OPI: Glitzerland

I couldn't wait for my XL stamper to arrive to use my MoYou stamping plates, so I went with a small design that would fit on my current stamper. I used a sandy colour and the same blue and brown as before and added a little mermaid sitting on a rock in black. She is holding a little gold micro bead.

Navy Blue - China Glaze: First Mate

My favourite part of this manicure is the mermaid :D
